A PROPOS DE GREG NOWAK
Passionné par les arts et le design, c’est le plaisir de la création
artistique et de la Culture qui ont poussé Greg Nowak à devenir
Directeur Artistique et Concepteur Visuel.
Après une école d’art parisienne, son entrée comme peintre de décors à l’Opéra de Paris lui permet d’intégrer le milieu du spectacle.
Touche-à-tout, c'est en s'immergeant dans différentes pratiques
artistiques incluant la peinture scénique, le travail du bois et du
métal, qu'il comprend cependant que la création de décors, la gestion d’une équipe artistique efficace autant que sympathique et les contraintes créatives combinent ses intérêts et sa force.
Quel que soit le projet, fiction, publicité, événementiel et autres,
c'est la volonté de livrer le meilleur des résultats qui est toujours
au coeur de ses préoccupations.
Grand voyageur, passionné de Japon où il s'est rendu à maintes
reprises, Greg a travaillé à différentes occasions à l'étranger.
"Aline" a été nominé dans la catégorie meilleure direction artistique aux Césars.
"Anime" lui a valu le prix de la meilleure direction artistique du festival Spasm.
Il a également assuré la direction artistique du long métrage "Un Ange à la Mer", récipiendaire du grand prix du festival de Karlovy Vary.

ABOUT GREG NOWAK
Passionate about art and design, it's the love of culture and creation that pushed Greg Nowak to become an Artistic Director and Production Designer.
After graduating art school in Paris, he became a set painter at The Paris Opera, which allowed him to integrate the world of live performance.
Jack of all trades, it was by immersing himself in different artistic practices including scenic painting, wood and metal work, that he understood that creating sets and managing an
efficient artistic team in a friendly atmosphere within the creative constraints of a project was a perfect combination of his interests and strengths.
Whatever the field; fiction, advertising, events and others, it's the will to deliver the best results that is always at the heart of his concerns.
A world traveler, passionate about Japan, where he has visited many times, Greg has worked abroad on different occasions.
"Aline" was nominated in the best art direction's category at the Césars' french awards.
"Anime" won him the award for Best Artistic Direction from Spasm Film Festival.
He was also artistic director of the feature film "An Angel at Sea", recipient of Karlovy Vary Festival's grand prize.
